By creating an account or using SetWise, you agree to these Terms of Use. Eligibility You must be at least 13 years of age to use SetWise. By using the platform, you confirm that you meet this requirement. Your Account You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and the accuracy of the information you provide. You may not impersonate another person, organization, or production. Acceptable Use Users agree not to: - Violate any applicable laws or regulations - Harass, threaten, or intimidate others - Upload content that infringes on intellectual property rights - Distribute spam or misleading information - Attempt to disrupt or compromise the platform Artificial Intelligence & Synthetic Media Policy SetWise is committed to maintaining an authentic and trustworthy environment for film and television professionals, creatives, and enthusiasts. Authentic Representation Users may not use AI-generated, synthetic, manipulated, or digitally created content to falsely represent professional experience, production involvement, industry credits, projects, employment, achievements, relationships, or real-world events. Examples include, but are not limited to: - Fabricated on-set photographs - False production involvement - Fake professional credits - Synthetic images presented as real-world events - AI-generated content designed to mislead users about a person's experience, accomplishments, or industry participation Permitted Uses SetWise recognizes that AI tools may be used within legitimate creative and professional workflows, including visual effects, animation, concept development, virtual production, research, education, and storytelling. Content created using these tools may be shared when presented accurately and without intent to mislead. Enforcement Content that violates this policy may be removed without notice. Accounts that repeatedly post deceptive, misleading, fraudulent, or fabricated content may be subject to: - Warnings - Temporary restrictions - Suspension - Permanent removal from the platform SetWise reserves the right to determine whether content is inconsistent with the platform's commitment to authenticity and professional integrity. Content Ownership Users retain ownership of the content they upload. By posting content to SetWise, you grant SetWise permission to display, store, and distribute that content within the platform for the purpose of operating the service. Suspension and Termination SetWise reserves the right to remove content, suspend accounts, or terminate access where necessary to protect the platform, its users, or the broader community. Last Updated: May 2026 SetWise exists to support film and television professionals, creatives, and enthusiasts through respectful collaboration and discovery. We ask all users to contribute positively to the community. Be Professional Treat others with respect. Constructive discussion is encouraged. Personal attacks, harassment, discrimination, and intimidation are not permitted. Be Authentic Represent yourself accurately. Do not impersonate individuals, productions, organizations, or companies. Respect Intellectual Property Only upload content you own or have permission to share. This includes headshots, photography, artwork, production materials, scripts, posters, and other creative works. Keep Content Appropriate Content containing excessive violence, pornography, exploitation, hate speech, or illegal activity is prohibited. No Spam Do not use SetWise primarily for unsolicited advertising, scams, repetitive promotional activity, or misleading engagement tactics. Reporting Issues Users may report content or behaviour that violates these guidelines. SetWise reserves the right to review and remove content that does not align with community standards.

User Responsibility Users are responsible for ensuring they possess the necessary rights, permissions, licenses, or authorizations to upload and share content through SetWise. Confidential Information and Third-Party Obligations Users are responsible for ensuring that any content they upload, share, publish, or distribute through SetWise complies with any confidentiality obligations, non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), employment agreements, production agreements, contractual obligations, or other restrictions to which they may be subject. SetWise is not responsible for determining whether a user has the right to disclose specific information, materials, images, videos, documents, project details, or other content. By uploading content, users represent and warrant that they have the necessary rights, permissions, and authority to share such content through the platform. Users assume full responsibility for any consequences arising from the disclosure of confidential, proprietary, restricted, or otherwise protected information. Copyright Complaints If you believe content on SetWise infringes your copyright or intellectual property rights, please contact hello@setwiseapp.com with: - Your name and contact information - A description of the copyrighted work - The location of the allegedly infringing content - Any supporting documentation Content Review SetWise may review and remove content that appears to violate intellectual property rights, community guidelines, or applicable laws. SetWise reserves the right to remove content that is alleged or reasonably believed to violate confidentiality obligations, contractual restrictions, intellectual property rights, or applicable laws. Promotional Features SetWise may occasionally invite users to participate in promotional campaigns, platform features, marketing materials, or community spotlights. SetWise will not use a user's profile, content, image, or project for promotional purposes without first obtaining permission from the user. Repeat Violations Accounts that repeatedly upload unauthorized content may be suspended or removed from the platform.
